So there's like two years since I let my blogspot die... I'm sorry >o< but now I'm back!... I hope...
And also I hope that you enjoy viewing my illustrations, comics and other stuff, like a few little animations that I'm currently working on!

Another god meeting, now with the River Queen. Lets hope that she’s in a good mood for her temper is ever changing like the flow of the river she commands.

I like painting my own stuff, I don’t know if you like it too, cause I do like making fanart, specially of comics from friends that I think are marvelous and deserve much attention, but I'am working on some comics and other projects too that I hope some people will like.

Tiene como dos años desde que dejé que mi blog muriera D: de verdad lo siento! pero ahora estoy de vuelta! creo... ._.
Espero que disfrutes las ilustraciones, cómics y otras cosas como pequeñas animaciones que he estado trabajando en estos dos años. Mientras tanto, aquí dejo otra ilustración de Samicia.

Encuentro con otra deidad, en ésta ocasión es la Reina del Río. Esperemos se encuentre de buen humor pues cambia constantemente como la corriente de las aguas bajo su comando.

Me gusta muchísimo trabajar en mis propios proyectos, aunque no sé si a ustedes les guste, por que también me encanta hacer fan art, especialmente de comics de amigos, cuyos trabajos me parece geniales y merecen atención, por ahora me estoy enfocando en mis propios cómics y otros proyectos que espero sean de su agrado.

It's a jelly matter

 

English:

Samicia like to tend to her underwater gardens, and  she loves to do it with her best underwater garments  (a living jellyfish who's always happy to help and look fashionable!). You can always wear fancy things if you work with underwater gardens, since dirt is not that much of a problem when you are surrounded by water.

Acrylic on mdf. This one was one of the paintings that I did when I started using acrylics for real, it was real fun. The inherent limitation of traditional painting (limitations when compared with digital) really push one's understanding of how to use color and make strokes in a more natural way, it can be done digital, but its harder to set limits to what you can use in order to learn. At the end, What you learn in digital can be applied in traditionl and what you learn in traditional can be applied to digital, its all painting after all.

A Samicia le gusta trabajar en sus jardines subacuáticos, y le encanta hacerlo con sus mejores galas (¡una medusa viva a quien le encanta ayudar y verse bien!) Cuando trabajas con jardines subacuáticos  siempre puedes hacerlo con ropa elegante porque la tierra no es un problema cuando se está  rodeado de agua!

Acrílico en mdf. Este forma parte de una serie de pinturas que hice cuando comencé a pintar con acrílico enserio y fue muy divertido. Las limitaciones inherentes de la pintura tradicional (limitaciones si se compara con la digital) son de gran ayuda para comprender de manera más natural el uso del color y los trazos con pintura, puede aprenderse en digital, pero es más complicado establecerse límites a tus recursos para aprender. Al final, lo que aprendes en digital se puede aplicar en lo tradicional y lo que aprendes en tradicional a lo digital, todo es pintura al final de cuentas.

Long Hair

Love the hair, love to have hair to, even when everytime I'm going to cut it, I have to stand the joke "you got A LOT of hair, I should charge you and extra!" it wasn't funny the first 150 times, and ins't going to be any funnier...

Me gusta el cabello y tener cabello. De hecho tengo bastante, y ya me aburrí del chiste "Tienes bastante cabello, debería cobrarte de más!" No fue gracioso la primera vez, y no creo que con el tiempo sea gracioso...

Bang Bang

See! I updated the same day!! Ha! Lets see how much I can handle...

This is a sketch/color test, I'm making the final touches to the original one, maybe I'll upload that one today too.

Una más para el día de hoy, este es un boceto/prueba de color. Si me da tiempo de terminar la versión final la subo hoy mismo, sino pues ya mañana (explicación innecesaria, los que me conocen sabrán que soy propenso a ellas, esta es otra...)

I know I said "daily" update, but yesterday the computer was being used by tho one in this drawings... I'll post a few more today.

Uno de mistemas recurrentes, y, obviamente el más recurrente de todos: Samantha.

He aquí una serie de bocetos que hice en mero plan lúdico, la mayoría con Sam de protagoniza. Los hice, me parece, hace unos meses. Y creo que dije que iba a actualizar diario, pero la compu estaba siendo utilizada a la hora que los iba a subir, y luego me dio flojera. subiré unos nuevo (ahora si nuevo, no de hace unos meses) más alrato...
